Here are my tasks sent via email to be done for the next class;
- Create a Gmail account with contacts and group contact list
- Create a Hotmail account with contacts and group contact list
Steps I took to complete this task:
- Go to www.gmail.com and www.live.com
- I completed the general information for a new live account
- I signed into my old Gmail account and the new Hotmail email account I created
- I clicked on the drop down menu/apps icon and selected contacts/people
- I added each individual email using the new contacts for my gmail account.
- Using manage or More tab I imported my contacts from my gmail account to my Hotmail account and then placed them into my group I created.
The challenges I faced while completing the task are:
The only challenged I faced while completing this task was creating the group contact list on my Hotmail account. I was able to overcome this challenge after coming to class the next day and listening to Mrs. Marsh Roberts explain how to complete this particular task and then I was able to successfully complete the task on my own.
In conclusion, I can say that I have learnt how to create group contact lists using all my devices. I was able to benefit from this learning experience knowing that emails are a tool for communication. Using the information I have learnt from this experience I will use emails for communication with my tutors and fellow classmates to receive and to give necessary and important information needed for my courses.
